Eracists, Chloe and Halle “Drop” their new single + Signed To Beyonce’s Label
Chloe and Halle have been making big moves since before we first met them years ago in Orlando for the 2013 NAACP Convention. These young queens have performed on the Disney Channel, for Michelle Obama, and more recently they have signed to Beyonce’s music management company Parkwood Entertainment. Beyoncè has motivated the young stars to produce their first single, written and produced by them [Chloe and Halle]. The song is entitled “Drop”. The video was shot by Andy Hines at Big Sky Movie Ranch in California, where Django Unchained and Transformers were filmed. The BIG scenery and abstract vibe were perfect to set the tone for Chloe and Halle’s debut.
The duo are known for showing out in soulful youtube covers inspired by their favorite artists. Their consistency has brought them a mighty long way. Hopefully, they can be an example for all of the young dreamers.
Here is what Chloe said was the best advice she’s received from her new boss Beyoncè:
“…the best advice she’s given us is to stay true to ourselves and that’s pretty big for us. Being young girls, sometimes you look at other people and think, “I should do that and I should be that.” But she has always told us to stay true to ourselves and who we are. The youth has a new sound and a different perspective and she said, “Don’t lose that because that’s something different.” – Chloe
