IOvertown Youth Center is an organization that provides a positive space for youth development. Fall 2018, Erace The Hate introduced the ARTrepreneur program at the Overtown Youth Cente after realizing the lack of support for young entrepreneurs in the community. ARTrepreneur teaches students how to make it in the real world while also teaching them how to work together as a team regardless of any differences they may have between each other because ultimately no one is perfect but everyone can learn something new everyday if given the opportunity.  We thank the Overtown Youth Center for trusting the vision of the organization.  Our program resulted in a 5-song EP and two original shirt designs, all produced by the students of Overtown Youth Center.

The youth in the ARTrepreneur program are mentored by industry professionals so they can find a career path and succeed in their future endeavors. This is an incredible opportunity for these students as they not only get to learn different aspects of music and business but they also get to work on themselves while being surrounded by other passionate individuals.

Overtown Youth Center “OYC” is located in the Historic Overtown of Miami, Florida. Year round, the OYC provides resources for the entire family.  They have been serving the youth in Overtown since 2000. They offer services ranging from tutoring to sports leagues and everything in between. They are located at the corner of NW 5th Ave & NW 14th St.
